Brunner Mine

On Monday for topic we went to the Brunner Mine Site. We explored the place a little bit, then we had to dress up we did activities to see what it was like back then.We also did a play  like when the mine
exploded and we couldn't speak we had to drag other people in our class out of the mine.

This week I did my art .  We had to chose a shape to cut out  witch was hard to do and then we had to glue it on a black paper.  On Friday i got a certificate on art .  HERE IS THE FINISHED ART!!!!   

Poem

  Yesterday I made a yellow colour poem. We had to make then for our writing. The class had to share them, I was happy with my work .

Music

     This week we have been looking at music notes. We have learnt some notes including a crotchet and a semibreve. Here is my work.

This week for science we did a experiment about density. We had four different colours we had to put the colours in a empty glass with a straw and spoon. We mixed water, sugar and food colouring At the end you can see different layers caused with density of the liquid.

This term for technology I am in a cooking class. Last week we made fruit chocolate coated kebabs
This is how we made them. 1. We got some fruits. 2. Cut up the fruits. 3. Slide the fruits on the stick. 4. Chocolate coat it. 5. EAT IT YUM YUM. Next week we are going to make pasta.

Maths

This week for maths I have been doing shapes like triangles.  I learnt about equilateral, scalene, isosceles, right angled triangles, quadrilateral, rhombus and trapezium. In class we are working on maths maintenance where the teacher gives us maths questions and we have to answer them.
